1.How long does a sew in last?

A sew in can last 6 to 10 weeks we recommend you come to the salon for maintenance service every 2 weeks for a shampoo and 4 to 6 weeks after install for tightening. Matting, tangling, and dreading (which leads to hair loss) may result if you leave your weave in too long.

2.How long does the install take?

A sew in with leave out can take up to 2 hours and without any leave out 2 ½ hours.

3.How many packs of hair do I need?

If you are installing between 10"- 14" you will need 2 bundles if you are installing 16" or longer you may need 3-4 bundles.

4.My hair is natural can I still get a sew in?

Yes, if you decide to leave hair left out with the right products you will only have to flat iron your hair once a week for touch ups. We also offer a partial relaxer where only your leave out is relaxed to make it more manageable. You also have the option of not leaving any hair out lace closure, full (separation of hair), invisible part, and we also offer crochet braids.

5.If I have thinning or alopecia can I get a sew in?

Yes, depending on the severity we use a net to fill in any areas thinning or balding.

6.How do I remove my weave?

We recommend you coming into the salon and we will safely remove and shampoo your hair for $50.

7.What is the difference between a full and a partial sew in?

A full sew in is where none of your hair is left out and a partial is where a portion of your hair is left out for a natural part Stylist will consult with you to determine the appropriate amount of leave out for each individual.

8.What is a net used for?

A net adds extra security for your install we sew a breathable net onto your braids it helps it to last longer and keeps everything in place. It is highly recommended for clients who are natural, thinning or have alopecia.

9.Can my sew in be shampooed?

Yes, we recommend coming into the salon for your maintenance every 2 weeks we shampoo your hair with sulfate free shampoo condition and dry your hair and braids under a hooded dryer for about an hour to ensure your braids dry properly flat iron and style as desired for $35. Tightening maintenance services is recommended 4 weeks after your install.

10.What type of hair do you sell?

We sell 100% unprocessed virgin hair bundles in 7A grade, and we now stock 10A grade as well. The quality of the hair we sell is unmatched by our competitors and beauty supply stores for the price. Our bundles are a full 4oz weight with full ends and the bundles can last one to two years with proper care depending on the grade you select. Please come by the salon and see for yourself. We also offer 28 different sew in bundle deal packages that include two bundles and installation for a savings of up to a $36 off our regular prices.

10.What color is the hair you sell?

Our Ashley Rose Hair comes in a Natural Dark Brown Our hair can be colored, we custom color blonde, red, highlights, ombre, the possibilities are endless. We do request you notify us of any color service 24hours before appointment so we can have your hair ready to be installed as the coloring process can take 1-3 hours including drying time.

11.Do you only do sew ins?

No, we are a full serviced salon we offer services such as color, natural hair care, locks, up-dos, goddess braids, no knots, crochet braids, waxing, lashes, and more!

12.Should I shampoo my hair before my appointment?

We recommend you to as a sew in can take up to 2 ½ hours without a shampoo service, however we can shampoo your hair if needed which is an additional $25.

13.What kind of products should I use on my weave?

Oil free products, sulfate free shampoo, leave in conditioner for curly or deep wave. Avoid using heavy products such as mousse which creates build up and weighs on your hair making stiff and less movement.

14.My weave is so itchy what can I do?

We recommend first coming in for your maintenance where we properly cleanse you hair and scalp, if itching persist we recommend using Scalpicin, which is a topical aid for itchy scalp you can pick up at your local drug store.

15.Do you allow children at the salon?

God bless the children we love as our own.....but we like it better when they're left at home. Many guest look forward to their salon experience as personal pampering time, unless they are being serviced we do not allow children in the salon. Thank you for understanding.
